Lauren Cosulich named to the Board of Directors of Cambridge Community Foundation

Lauren Cosulich, a partner and adviser in Boston with Summit Trail Advisors, a wealth management company, has been named to the board of directors of the Cambridge Community Foundation. Earlier this year, she joined the Foundation’s Professional Advisors Council, serving as co-chair. The council builds partnerships with donors, and experts who work with them, to cultivate opportunities for high-impact philanthropic investments in Cambridge and the region. Lauren has also been appointed chair of the Foundation’s Development Committee.
Cambridge Community Foundation, the only foundation serving the entire city, was established in 1916, and is currently marking its centennial year. It funds nonprofit organizations through two annual sets of grants, serves as a civic leader, promotes collaboration focused on urgent local issues, and partners with donors to provide a permanent source of charitable funds for the city, known as the Cambridge Endowment.

Cambridge Community Foundation is one of the oldest community foundations in the country. The only foundation with the whole city of Cambridge in its purview, it is a key supporter of nonprofit organizations, distributing $1.3 million in grants in 2015 to meet local needs and support the aspirations of Cambridge residents. The Foundation provides leadership support and funding to respond to urgent local challenges. It partners with donors to provide a permanent source of charitable funds for the community.
