Dominick Trapasso, CPA

Dominick works on an advisory team that specializes in working with entrepreneurs, private equity partners, executives, and business owners to coordinate the development and implementation of individualized investment strategies. In addition, Dominick and his team advise clients and their families on all aspects of their financial lives in a completely independent and unbiased manner. In this capacity, Dominick and the team offer family office services centered around estate planning, insurance, and taxation strategies. Dominick also works with other financial advisors through the firm’s Investment Alliance. The offering includes Market Research, Manager Due Diligence, Asset Allocation Advice, and Model Portfolios to other advisory firms. In this capacity, Summit Trail also offers access to unique alternative strategies to advisors and their clientele. Prior to joining Summit Trail, Dominick spent most of his career helping advisors and individuals with their portfolio construction and investment solutions. Dominick spent time at both Lord Abbett and Nuveen and was responsible for serving the sophisticated needs of the largest Registered Investment Advisors (RIAs), Consultants, and Family Offices. In these roles, he provided focused expertise and a deep understanding of the institutional-level demands of these market segments. Dominick is originally from New York and lives in Sarasota, FL with his wife Stephanie and two children Siena and Dominick V. Dominick is an avid sports fan following his alma mater the national champion Clemson Tigers and his New York-based teams: Yankees, Giants, and Rangers.
