Jonathan Lewis

Jonathan is the Head of Sustainable Investing and Chief Portfolio Strategist at Summit Trail Advisors. In this role, Jonathan is responsible for designing a client advisory framework related to sustainable investing and ESG issues. Prior to joining Summit Trail, he was President of Signatory Capital Advisors. Previously he was Chief Investment Officer of Fiera Capital US, a UN Principles of Responsible Investment signatory (PRI), and in this position was a member of the management committee, oversaw investment process, and led the firm's ESG integration and engagement strategy. He was co-founder and Chief Investment Officer of Samson Capital Advisors until its acquisition by Fiera. As chair of Samson’s investment committee, he supervised the design, development, and implementation of the investment and risk management processes central to the firm’s approach to taxable and tax-efficient investing. He is a Trustee of the American Jewish Historical Society. Jonathan served as the Treasurer of the Phi Beta Kappa Society and Foundation and chaired the endowment investment committee. He led Phi Beta Kappa to become a UN PRI Signatory and served as a member of the UN PRI Global Policy Reference Group. A former elected Trustee of the Village of Scarsdale, and former elected Trustee of the Scarsdale School District, he has been a leader in local government on issues including education, public safety, and public infrastructure. He was President of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation for his region. He has written two books for Yale University Press related to policy, economics, and national security.

Education:

He earned his MBA from Columbia University and his MA in history from NYU. He graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
