Matthew Coleman
Principal, Head of Benefit Solutions
Matt joined Summit Trail in 2021 as a Principal to lead the Benefit Solutions team. Matt will work with the team to provide customized solutions for benefit plans for STA families that own small businesses. Matt began his professional career at Bloomberg LP selling their financial software to Fortune 500 companies. In 2014 he joined Microsoft, where he led an Enterprise team focused on selling into the financial services industry. In 2016, Matt finished as the top revenue CRM seller in the country. Matt was responsible for managing the business and strategic relationships between Microsoft and key global financial services clients while providing strategic support and guidance to drive impact to each client’s business. Prior to joining Summit Trail, Matt was a Partner and ran the Group Medical business at Heritage Strategies LLC.
Education:
Matt graduated from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan in 2011 with a bachelor’s in Business Administration focused on finance and strategy. He also holds a Life, Accident & Health Insurance license.
