Peter C. Lee

Peter Lee is a Founding Partner of Summit Trail Advisors. Peter and his team specialize in working with entrepreneurs, private equity partners, professional athletes and entertainers to coordinate the development and implementation of individualized investment strategies. In so doing, they advise clients and their families on all aspects of their financial lives in a completely independent and unbiased manner. Peter particularly values the fact that his team can now deliver advice in its purest form. Prior to founding Summit Trail, Peter led an eight-person investment management team as a Director in Barclays Wealth and Investment Management Group. In this role, Peter and his team managed over $1 billion in client assets. He was also one of a select group of advisors to serve on the Barclays Americas Investment Representative Council. Previously, Peter was a Vice President with AlixPartners, where he specialized in valuing middle market, privately held companies. Peter was an Academic All-American and received the College Football Hall of Fame Scholar-Athlete Award as quarterback for Yale University, where he broke 11 school passing records and 1 NCAA record. While in his senior year at Yale, he was selected to study under David Swensen and his team at the Yale University Endowment. Peter is currently a member of the Board of Trustees at Loyola Academy, and serves on their Investment Committee. He also serves on the Governing Board of Boys Hope Girls Hope, and just completed a term as Chairman of the Young Leaders Committee for the Economic Club of Chicago. In 2014, Peter was featured in Crain’s “40 Under 40” list of business and civic leaders, and was also named to Investment News' 2018 National list of the 40 most influential people in the investment industry under the age of 40.
